Taco Azul

Welcoming ambience and good prices. Enough shrimps in my tacos and the barria tacos sooo good. I had jalapeño poppers as an appetizer as well and those were great too. Our servers were really friendly and accommodating. I don't drink alcohol but our server gave us non alcoholic Pina coladas to taste and it was so darn good. I will be going all the way back to College Point just for those Pina coladas. The drink menu is priced pretty nicely in my opinion. Worth checking out. I highly recommend

Evening drop in on a whim (googled a "reputable taco spot near me" because it was Tuesday - yes Taco 🌮 Tuesday 😌). Anywho, it had the highest number of reviews and was open til 10p. We arrived just after 8p, no reservations required, open seating, and you seat yourself. Service was great, attentive, and flowing, as we didn't have to look around for our server. The eye contact he made from any direction (w/out stalkin 😂) was on point. They were fast, efficient, and super helpful, choosing from the menu. I'm sure he knew by looking at the lost look on our faces that we were trying to figure out what to order. Not certain that the servers were waitstaff, though in a good way. They were multifunctional, dabbling btwn behind the counter, kitchen, and beverages (they serve adult selections too y'all, dont let it go over your head 😉), cleaning up small spills, going into the kitchen to retrieve our meals and even plating dessert. I'm thinking maybe they were hands-on owners? 🤔 Whatever the role, KUDOS for the teamwork and cohesion. They had a great rapport with each other and their patrons. Seemed like just about everyone that came in and sat down, was greeted with extended conversation at some point. Whether it was regarding the food, beverages, desserts, what brought you to their establishment, etc., it seemed genuine.
